We are seeking a Staff Software Quality Engineers to collaborate with software developers to create integration tests for new features. Location: 201 Great America Parkway, Suite 432, Santa Clara, CA, 95054. Travel: 5% domestic travel to visit other company locations 2‑3 times per year to meet with colleagues. We are unable to consider remote workers or individuals who are not currently based in the US and are not legally authorized to work in the US. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with software developers to create integration tests for new features. Collaborate with software development teams to identify and resolve system defects. Facilitate and complete design control tasks in collaboration with the Software Engineering Team. Document and communicate test results, and track software bugs and their resolution. Author and execute verification and validation (V&V) test protocols. Develop and execute Quality projects specific to the Software Development Life Cycle from inception to production; apply and adhere to IEC 62304/FDA guidance in developing software integration protocols/reports. Provide leadership and execution for the software integration of product software. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Employees require a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field and 8 years of progressively more responsible work experience in any occupation developing and executing software quality projects specific to the Software Development Life Cycle in a regulated environment (e.g. ISO 13485, FDA CFR, ISO 9001, AS9100) from inception to production. In addition, the Employer requires the following: Demonstrated ability working as a Software Quality Engineer working with Class II or Class III medical devices gained through at least 5 years of work experience. Demonstrated ability collaborating with software developers to create integration tests for new features gained through at least 8 years of work experience. Demonstrated ability collaborating with software development teams to identify and resolve system defects gained through at least 5 years of work experience. All years of experience may be gained concurrently. Salary: Two Hundred Two Thousand to Two Hundred Twelve Thousand per year.
