Educational Requirements Master’s Degree in Music or a related field from a regionally accredited institution. Professional Experience Three or more years of experience teaching music courses. Familiarity with a wide variety of music genres. Familiarity with the needs of a non‑traditional, first‑generation, multicultural student body. Certification Texas Educator Baccalaureate (STEP) or Texas Educator Certificate preferred.
