EEG Technologist
Relocation Assistance Provided - #####K plus ##### per mile
Under supervision the incumbent performs journey-level procedures as they relate to electroencephalographic studies. The EEG Technologist is competent in performing the following studies: routine EEG; sleep deprived EEG; portable EEG: bedside prolonged EEG: ambulatory EEG: long-term monitoring hookups/baseline recordings. Communicates with the technical director in regards to daily operations. Incumbent assists with program development as needed. Performs other related tasks as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- The EEG Technologist must be ABRET EEG Board certified OR have completed a NDT program and is eligible for the ABRET EEG Board Exam (must take within one (1) year and pass within two (2) years of employment).
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience performing the following EEG-related studies: routine EEG; sleep deprived EEG, bedside prolonged EEG: ambulatory EEG: long-term monitoring hookups/baseline recordings.
- BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date
- Must maintain CEU's for EEG Board Certification.
