Quality Tech Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Quality Tech with a good eye for detail to join our growing team. The individual should be able to work alone with minimal supervision and have a keen eye for detail. In this position, you will be required to parts lists, design drawings, as well as CAD drawings to verify that all parts and accessories accounted for and of good quality for installation. This individual must also be willing to cross-train in other areas as needed to support the business.

Daily Expectations

1. Using manufacturing schedule to verify and check jobs scheduled for installation.
2. Accounting for all parts per the panel stock list and the designer drawing/cutlist as needed. This includes verifying quantity of parts, band quality, correct side of banding, etc. All other controls needed to be verified are listed on the Pre-Install Quality Control Checklist.
3. Ensure that items needed for accessory boxes and rods are accounted for and are correct. This includes verifying correct color/finish of item, total accessories need is accurate, rod finish and count is correct.
4. Ensure that items on the “Re-Cut” Table/Recut Cart are placed on the proper job cart. If a piece needs to be recut, please write it on a recut sheet, and give it to the Saw Operator to be replaced.
5. Once all parts are accounted for place a QC sticker on the bottom edge of window sheet that is placed with folder and cone.
6. Turn in Pre-Install Checklist daily to Shop Manager’s Office.
7. Cross training and working in other areas as needed to support the business. *The expectations are subject to change based upon demand and growth of program.

Incentive Bonus There is an opportunity to receive a bonus based upon QC Tech’s verification. This bonus will be based upon the success of the morning loads of the installers. The bonus will be given each pay period based upon the items that are within QC Tech’s control that should have been verified before loading. Each week, the QC Tech will be given 3 strikes (opportunities to rebound if items within their control are missed) before they risk not receiving their daily bonus if an item that is within their control to verify it isn’t verified. Once the 3 strikes have been exhausted, any item not verified that is found on the morning of the installation will eliminate the QC Tech for that day for their daily bonus.

Quality Tech Requirements and Qualifications • High school diploma or GED • Attention to detail to drawings & integrity of parts needed for system • Physical ability to lift 10-50 pounds and sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch repeatedly. • Superior organizational and communication skills • Exceptional collaboration and negotiation abilities • Willing to cross-train in other areas to support the business as needed
