Manufacturing Engineering Manager at a leading industrial manufacturing and services company based near Manning, SC. This position is responsible for developing, directing and coordinating the manufacturing engineering function to include new machines, tooling, material and processes.

This is a direct hire job opportunity. Bonus eligible.

responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing, directing and coordinating the manufacturing engineering function at the plant
  
  
• Supports new programs by developing new machines, tooling, material and processes
  
  
• Daily leadership of engineering staff to support and resolve daily production issues
  
  
• Manages capital/engineering projects to ensure timelines are kept and project expenses are within budget
  
  
• Manages the design/coordinates the manufacture and run-off production machines/machine elements.
  
  
  
• Develop and implement factory and equipment layouts to accommodate changing needs of operation

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering

• Ten years of manufacturing engineering experience (preferably in machining and assembly environment)

• Established supervisory and leadership skills
