Field Service Technician II

Position Summary Tech II responsible for safe, high‑quality field work in field services—executing work orders, maintaining assets, and delivering responsive customer service. Key Responsibilities Complete service orders (turn‑on/off, rereads, meter tests) within SLAs; document results. Investigate high/low usage, no‑reads, and tamper alarms; escalatie anomalies. Perform utility locates/mark‑outs and customer appointments professionally. Use mobile apps/handhelds for work orders and inventory; maintain vehicle and tools. Support emergency response and after‑hours rotations as assigned. Work independently on routine tasks; request guidance on complex issues. Provide courteous customer and stakeholder communications at job sites. Qualifications 2–4 years relevant field experience in Field Services operations within water/wastewater/public works. Strong safety mindset (confined space, trenching/MOT, PPE); clean driving record. CMMS/mobile work order proficiency and accurate documentation. Education & Certifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical coursework preferred. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Field‑based role with frequent driving, outdoor work in varied weather, and exposure to traffic, confined spaces, biological/chemical hazards, energized equipment, and uneven terrain.
