Family Seeking Experienced Senior Caregiver / CNA Support for Elderly Parents

A loving family is seeking a compassionate, dependable caregiver to support elderly parents. Due to age related physical & cognitive changes, both parents would benefit from assistance to remain safe & comfortable at home. One parent requires supervision & support related to dementia & cognitive impairment. Schedule Mon–Fri, 3–5 days per week, approximately 12–20 hours weekly, with flexibility based on the caregiver's availability & the parents' needs. Daytime hours preferred. Responsibilities Personal care—including bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, medication reminders, mobility support, and monitoring physical & cognitive changes—for one parent. Provide companionship, supervision, emotional support, orientation, redirection, and maintain a calm, structured environment. Observe and communicate changes in mood, behavior, mobility, sleep, or safety concerns. Prepare meals, light meal planning, healthy snacks, and encourage proper nutrition & hydration. Accompany parents on walks and encourage safe physical activity while promoting fall prevention & home safety. Light housekeeping including dishes, kitchen cleanup, laundry, changing linens, and maintaining an organized, safe environment. Transportation to medical appointments, pharmacies, grocery stores, and running errands as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience caring for older adults; CNA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide, or experienced family caregiver. Dementia care experience strongly preferred. CPR/First Aid certification. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record. Must pass a criminal background check & provide references. Compassionate, dependable, patient, and professional. Compensation $15–$20 per hour based on experience & qualifications. Expectations The family appreciates a brief update after each shift regarding care provided & any concerns.
