Equipment Operator

Equipment Operator Reports Directly to: Ferrous Supervisor Purpose: Operate equipment in the processing, loading, & unloading of scrap metal. Equipment Operator Job Description Must have valid driver's license. Must pass random drug tests throughout employment. Willingness to be trained in industry specific operations and procedures. Work at either business location as needed. Ability to operate excavator, material handler, wheel loader, skid steer. Daily start-up inspections (fluid levels, equipment condition, attachments, etc.). Report on any equipment issues to Supervisor and/or Yard Manager. Ability to operate cutting torch. Use hand tools and perform minor maintenance items as needed on equipment. Unload customers in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. as necessary. Be a team player, help in other areas as needed. Maintain good attendance, be at work when scheduled. #J-18808-Ljbffr
