The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) provides mental health care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric disorders. They work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform psychiatricassessments and evaluations.
• Develop and manage treatmentplans, including medication management.
• Provide psychotherapy andcounseling as needed.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursingwith a specialization in psychiatric-mental health; board certification asa PMHNP required.
• Valid nursing license and prescriptiveauthority.
