Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Description

Job Summary:
The CVOR RN Circulator provides specialized perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac and vascular surgeries. This role involves coordinating operating room activities and ensuring patient safety throughout complex procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and support intraoperative activities for cardiovascular surgeries in a multi-suite OR setting.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory compliance during procedures.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care before, during, and after surgery.
• Assist in maintaining a sterile environment and manage surgical equipment and supplies effectively.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations within the OR setting.
• Document all clinical activities accurately using Epic electronic health record system.

Qualifications:

• Hold a BSN or Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Possess a valid Ohio Registered Nurse License or valid multi-state compact license.
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Have at least one year of recent OR experience, preferably in cardiovascular surgery.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
