Sanitation Tech

Position Title: Sanitation Tech Wage: $18.50/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 06:00 am - 02:30 pm Sanitation Tech Responsibilities Clean and sanitize the following equipment in accordance with allergen free and established cleaning standards to ensure on-time start-ups (Packaging machinery equipment, tables, Walls, buckets, and dicing/ slicing machinery etc). Clean and sanitize for all equipment; this includes acquiring chemicals, cleaning and sanitizing the machines, and reporting any mechanical or electrical problems with this equipment to supervision. Operate the high-pressure water system to include: turning on the system, monitoring the hot water heater and resetting it when necessary, operating rinse, foam, and sanitizing stations, and ensuring issues are reported to supervisor. Use necessary cleaning agents and appropriate cleaning equipment. Maintain inventory of chemicals and sanitation supplies. Other duties may be assigned. Some chemicals used include: bleach (hypochlorite), sanitizer, quarter, and soap cleaner. Requirements for Sanitation Tech Must have experience properly mixing sanitation chemicals. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be able to work in a cold environment (32-37 degrees). Must be able to move up to 50-100 pounds (machines on wheels).
