Job Summary:
The Omaha, Nebraska area is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a full-time, acute care setting. The candidate will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine imaging procedures, adhering to department policies, and ensuring patient safety and quality standards. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required
• Certifications: BLS Certification and Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB
• Education & Licensing: Valid license to submit; drivers license required at submittal to verify distance from the facility
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, 8-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week
• Additional Information:
  • Radiation badge provided by the client
  • Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas; refusal to remove nails may lead to termination of the contract
  • DOT Certification is preferred at the initial contract, but required at extension (within 90 days)
  • Candidates must not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and Dignity
  • No experience with Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAMs is required as training will be provided
  • Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments
  • Charting system used is EPIC
