Warfighting Analyst, Junior We are seeking Junior Wargaming Analysts to join our expanding simulation, analysis, gaming, and experimentation team. You'll leverage your background in applying methods such as wargaming, campaign analysis, or defense research to help answer today's most difficult defense and intelligence challenges. As a wargaming analyst, you will design, prepare, and conduct defense and military analysis in support of Department of War and Intelligence Community clients. This includes conduct general research to support warfighting disciplines, COA analysis, strategy development, and organizational processes or procedures. You'll contribute to the design, execution, and delivery of analytic tasks associated with wargames, simulations, and tabletop exercises, including the shaping of objectives, crafting of wargaming constructs, authoring of scenarios, facilitation of participant discussions, and authoring of after action reports and briefings. You Have: Experience with military analysis and wargaming or supporting and conducting formal research Ability to learn and apply new methods, as required by the particular analysis Ability to exhibit a proactive approach to problem-solving Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Experience designing wargames or analytic studies to answer specific research questions Experience with geospatial visualization tools, including ArcGIS or QGIS preferred Experience with commercial or hobby wargaming, including manual board games Experience with data science, operations research, or modeling and simulation tools and methods Experience with military weapon systems and characteristics Ability to manage events, facilitate team discussions and meetings, and present project results and finding to client audiences Secret clearance Master's degree Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
