Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - Skilled Nursing Setting

Marshall Rehab and Nursing

Job Description

Job Description

Marshall Rehab and Nursing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide hands-on, resident-centered occupational therapy at a leading skilled nursing facility.

Your Daily Impact:

  • Carry out personalized treatment plans under the supervision of licensed Occupational Therapists, guiding residents in rebuilding skills for self-care, dressing, grooming, eating, and other activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Lead practical, engaging sessions using adaptive equipment, fine motor exercises, cognitive strategies, and compensatory techniques to enhance function, safety, and confidence.
  • Track and document resident progress, report observations to the supervising OT, educate residents and families on techniques and tools for home success, and adapt activities to meet individual needs; all while fostering positive, empowering relationships.

Why Therapists Love Working with Us:

  • Work within a collaborative therapy team where your frontline insights and contributions help refine care approaches and influence team decisions.
  • Gain access to continuous training, mentorship, and growth resources to sharpen your expertise in geriatric and long-term care occupational therapy.
  • Feel the profound reward of supporting older adults in regaining meaningful independence and quality of life in skilled nursing, with a consistent full-time schedule in a supportive environment.

Comprehensive Full-Time Benefits:

  • Health & Wellness: Premium Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans.
  • Future Planning: 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • Career Growth: Annual performance reviews with clear opportunities for salary increases and professional advancement.
  • Continuous Learning: Dedicated CEU reimbursement to support your ongoing professional development.

If you're a certified COTA who excels in supervised hands-on care, values teamwork in skilled nursing, and is dedicated to ongoing development and resident-focused outcomes, this opportunity is built for you.
