Human Resources CoordinatorIXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, has an exciting opportunity available for a Human Resources Coordinator. In this role, you will provide administrative and operational support to the HR Team. Regardless of the assignment, our ideal candidate demonstrates strong business judgment, professional etiquette, and exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. This is a dynamic work environment requiring you to be highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, and able to multi-task with ease.This position requires you to be in our San Mateo, CA, headquarters office.What You’ll Be DoingAssist with monitoring and responding to the HR email inbox, providing timely, professional support and assigning questions to appropriate team members when needed (payroll, benefits, leaves, Workday, etc.)Manage incoming mail, including opening, scanning, routing, and responding as appropriate to ensure timely handling of all correspondenceSupport the administration of IXL policies and practicesAssist with onboarding and offboarding processes, communication with IT and payroll teams, workflows, systems and act as administrator for related systems including I-9 processing and background investigationsPartner with the Benefits Manager to develop and communicate IXL's wellness program including coordinating wellness week activities as part of annual benefits open enrollmentAssist with benefit audits and other administrative tasks related to benefits administrationCoordinate logistics for various in-office and virtual events, such as wellness initiatives, trainings, various meetings, etc. including vendor communication, event planning, and employee engagement strategies that foster a positive workplace cultureSupport the execution of management development training programs by scheduling sessions, coordinating materials, tracking attendance, and ensuring follow-up completionEnsure all required compliance training is accurately scheduled, tracked, and recorded to meet internal standards and regulatory requirementsAssist with contingent worker trackingConduct research, analyze data and prepare reports as needed to support human resources or other business requested dataAssist with maintaining and organizing HR documentation and personnel recordsLead or participate in HR special projects as neededWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor's degree required; HR coursework preferred2+ years of proven experience working as part of an HR or recruiting teamSome knowledge of employment laws and HR best practicesHigh attention to detail and commitment to data accuracyHighly effective interpersonal skills and ability to maintain a high level of confidentialityAbility to manage small projects and initiatives, with management supportProficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS/ATS systems (Workday and/or Greenhouse experience a plus)The base hourly rate for this full-time position is $27 to $33 per hour + benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the position.
