We’ve facilitated 200,000+ clinical hours across 50+ university partners. Our preceptor network is the engine that makes all of it possible and this role owns that engine. Position Overview The Clinical Network Coordinator manages the full lifecycle of our preceptor network: the licensed providers who supervise our students’ clinical rotations. You’ll convert inbound provider applicants into credentialed, active preceptors, run targeted outreach to fill hard-to-staff specialties and states, and keep the network qualified, compliant, and engaged. This is not a typical healthcare recruiting role. Filling a req is the easy part. The hard part is judgment, knowing whether a specific provider is actually qualified to precept for a specific program in a specific state, where the rules differ by profession, accreditor, and state licensing board. If you’ve done high-volume sourcing but never had to verify credentials against program requirements, this role will stretch you. That’s the point. Key Responsibilities Inbound conversion: Respond quickly to provider applicants, screen for fit, and move qualified candidates through credentialing to active status. Speed matters, strong applicants have other offers, and a slow response loses them. Preceptor qualification & credentialing: Verify licensure, specialty, board certification, good standing, and experience against the specific requirements of each graduate program and accreditor. This is the core of the job. Targeted outbound: Source providers to fill specific specialty and geographic gaps that inbound doesn’t cover — leading with relationship and value, not volume. Network capacity & utilization: Maintain a clear, current picture of preceptor supply by specialty and state against partner demand, so we can confidently take on more placements from existing university partners. Retention & engagement: Keep preceptors active, compliant with feedback and documentation requirements, and likely to continue. Build the system: Turn the recruiting–credentialing–onboarding–retention process into a documented, repeatable playbook that scales beyond any one person. Cross-functional partnership: Work with our Partnerships and Sales teams to match preceptor supply to incoming placement demand. Qualifications 2+ years in healthcare credentialing, provider network/relations, clinical operations, or medical staff services (strongly preferred over general recruiting experience). Comfort verifying professional licenses and interpreting credentialing and compliance requirements; obsessively detail-oriented. Willingness and ability to do outbound outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn) and build trust with providers. Highly organized and systems-minded; able to build and maintain trackers in our CRM. Strong written and verbal communication. Self-directed — comfortable owning a function and exercising judgment without constant oversight. Bonus: familiarity with clinical education, preceptorship, graduate health programs, telehealth, or interstate licensure compacts (PSYPACT, Nurse Licensure Compact, etc.). What We Offer Starting base salary $60,000, plus a quarterly performance bonus ($10,000/year at target) Remote / hybrid — Fort Lauderdale, FL area work flexibility.
