Job Description Job Description TIG WELDER Automation Personnel Services is looking for experienced Tig Welders for a company based in Baytown, TX. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for performing high-quality welds on various metal components used in the fabrication of industrial hoses and expansion joints. Pay Rate $19.00-$21 per hour, depending on experience Schedule and Hours Monday-Friday 7:00am until 4:30pm Tig Welder Duties and Responsibilities Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless steel, carbon steel, and alloy materials Weld thin-gauge materials with precision to produce clean, high-quality welds Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols Fit, align, and assemble components prior to welding Use hand tools and shop equipment such as grinders, saws, and measuring tools Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards Maintain proper welding parameters based on material and job requirements Assist with pressure and leak testing of finished products as needed Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times Maintain a clean and organized work environment Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and deadlines Tig Welder Requirements and Qualifications Minimum 1–3 years of TIG welding experience preferred Experience working with stainless steel and thin-gauge materials Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols Familiarity with fabrication tools and equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial/shop environment Welding certifications are a plus Job Type Full-time, temporary Benefits Weekly Pay Medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance 40 Hours Service Bonus after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours 6 paid Holidays after 1 year of continuous service and 1500 hours 401(k) Retirement Plan Automation Personnel Services is the only staffing agency specializing in manufacturing and industrial roles that offers 401(k) matching to all eligible contingent and temporary associates.
