Physician

They actively participate in team meetings, communicate participant changes, review clinical data, and suggest improvements to reduce unnecessary hospitalizations. The role involves documentation, diagnostic coding, policy development, staff training, and quality assurance. Qualifications include an MD or DO license, board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice, experience with elderly populations, and current certifications such as CDS, DEA, and BLS. Essential skills encompass strong communication, organizational abilities, critical thinking, independence, and collaboration in a virtual environment. Travel within the region may be required.
