As a trusted partner in delivering fruit, vegetable, herb, and grain-based ingredient solutions to companies around the globe, we're striving to build a values-aligned workforce that embodies humility, integrity, passion, and excellence.What You'll DoAnalyze expenses, cost transactions, and financial data to ensure accurate reporting and proper allocation of costs across projects and departments.Prepare detailed financial analyses and reports, including project cost evaluations, expense forecasts, variance analysis, and cost-saving recommendations.Support monthly manufacturing cost reviews by analyzing material usage variances (MUV), purchase price variances (PPV), labor costs, yield variances, and other operational performance metrics.Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Accounting teams to investigate significant variances and recommend updates to bills of material and production routings.Assist in the development and enhancement of financial planning, forecasting, business intelligence, and reporting tools, including Adaptive FP&A systems.Support ad hoc reporting, special projects, and the preparation of financial reporting packages for leadership and key stakeholders.What You'll BringBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Two or more years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Cost Analyst, or in a similar analytical role.Strong analytical, mathematical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Business Intelligence reporting tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and effectively.High level of professionalism, integrity, adaptability, and ability to manage sensitive information in a fast-paced environment.What You Can Look Forward ToAn opportunity to make a direct impact on financial performance, cost optimization, and operational decision-making.Exposure to manufacturing operations, cost accounting, financial planning, forecasting, and business intelligence initiatives.Collaboration with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Finance, Operations, and Production leadership.Opportunities to contribute to process improvements, reporting enhancements, and strategic decision-making across the organization.A dynamic environment that values analytical thinking, continuous improvement, accountability, and professional growth.Meaningful work supporting organizational performance through data-driven insights and financial analysis.In the Van Drunen Family of Companies, commitment to excellence is in everything we do!
