Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – CVOR Travel Contract Location: Plano, Texas Pay: $62/hr | Assignment: 13-Week | Shift: PM (Monday–Friday 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM) We are seeking an experienced CST with strong CVOR experience to join a highly skilled cardiovascular surgical team and deliver exceptional patient care in a fast‑paced operating room environment. Position Details Specialty: CVOR Assignment Length: 13 Weeks Schedule: Monday–Friday | 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM Shift: PM Interview Process: 1 Virtual Interview Scrubs: Provided Requirements Active CST certification Current BLS Certification (AHA only) Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience Strong knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, and cardiovascular surgical procedures Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields and instrumentation Assist surgeons during cardiovascular procedures by anticipating procedural needs Perform surgical counts and ensure patient safety standards are maintained Prepare operating rooms with appropriate equipment and supplies Handle surgical specimens according to protocol Support infection prevention and sterilization standards in compliance with AORN and OSHA guidelines Assist with patient positioning, draping, and surgical room turnover Ideal Candidate Experienced in high‑acuity CVOR cases Strong attention to detail and organization Excellent teamwork and communication skills able to thrive in a fast‑paced surgical environment Must pass a criminal background check, drug test and have current immunizations #J-18808-Ljbffr CornerStone Medical
