Connecticut Orthopaedics has been named the #1 Physician Practice in Orthopaedics in Connecticut for two consecutive years. Connecticut Orthopaedics is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist to join our exceptional care team.
This position is eligible for a sign on bonus! Schedule & Location:
Connecticut Orthopaedics (CO) has been serving patients in the greater New Haven area for over 60 years. Our practice has merged with several surrounding orthopaedic groups over the past several years and has become the largest privately-owned orthopaedic practice in New England. Due to our quality of care and attentiveness to our patients, we are proudly the team of orthopaedic physicians for multiple colleges and high schools as well as have our own physical therapy centers. In addition to our orthopaedic service line, we have three MRI suites, (5) acute care orthopaedic walk-in centers and a surgery center in Branford.
This position is eligible for a sign on bonus! Schedule & Location:
- Full-time, 32 hours per week. Typical schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with 1 weekend rotation every 5 weeks.
- Essex, Madison and Guilford, CT
- Play a critical role in the diagnoses and treatment of a patient's illness and/or injury by performing various radiographic procedures
- Connect with the patient. From pre-screening for precautions or contraindications, to explaining the procedure and offering emotional support throughout, this position plays a key role in the care process and patient experience
- The ability to provide quality, compassionate patient care
- A positive attitude and friendly, courteous demeanor
- Ability to maintain medical equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting
- Ability to comply with all HIPAA requirements
- Must be a registered technologist from an accredited school of Radiology
- Must possess a radiology technologist license in the state of Connecticut.
