Senior Associate Veterinarian Job ID: J734921 Location: Oak Forest (Near Houston, TX) | Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 per year We are seeking an experienced Veterinarian to join a well‑established, multi‑doctor small animal hospital located in Oak Forest, near Houston, Texas as a Medical Director. This leadership position blends clinical excellence with practice management responsibilities. Responsibilities Provide clinical oversight and mentorship to the medical team. Uphold medical protocols and ensure high standards of patient care. Collaborate on hospital goals and strategic initiatives. Cultivate a positive and cohesive team culture. Participate in general practice and urgent care cases. Manage production bonus and reporting as required. Qualifications DVM or equivalent; Texas license (or eligible for Texas license). Interest and experience in small animal medicine and surgery. Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset. Experience with practice management and leadership preferred. Hospital Hours Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (rotating: 1 in 3 or 1 in 4 Saturdays required) Sunday: Closed Compensation and Benefits Base salary $150,000 – $200,000 (based on experience). $50,000 signing bonus. 20% production bonus paid with no negative accrual.
