Forklift Driver | 1st Shift Location: Garden City, GA Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:55 AM until daily completion Compensation: $18.00 per hour Position Summary DarkHorse Express Solutions Inc is seeking a dependable Forklift Driver to join our high-volume logistics facility. This role is tailored for skilled equipment operators who prioritize workplace safety, collaborate effectively with dock personnel, and prefer a stable weekday routine. Core Responsibilities Navigate industrial vehicles to securely transfer, unburden, and stage incoming and outgoing freight. Systematically arrange and palletize stock within designated warehouse sectors. Contribute to order fulfillment, packaging, and overarching facility demands. Conduct routine pre-shift machinery inspections and document mechanical discrepancies. Strictly observe operational protocols and corporate protective guidelines. Maintain an orderly, hazard-free workstation. Aid the logistics team with inventory tracking and merchandise labeling as required. Candidate Qualifications Prior background commanding material-handling machinery is favored. Comfortable functioning efficiently within an active distribution center. Deep commitment to accident prevention and acute situational awareness. Physical capacity to manually lift and shift bulky items when necessary.
