FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

Floor Technician (Full Time) Location: MDT – 201 Sabanetas Industrial Park, Ponce, PR 00716. Schedule: Full time, 2nd shift. Online applications only. Pay: Fixed $11.50 per hour. Job Summary: Floor Technician responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment. Essential Functions Maintain knowledge of principles of hard‑surface floor maintenance and proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing. Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment. Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas. Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming. Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types. Complete other duties as assigned by manager. Qualifications Preferred: previous experience as a floor care technician or related role. Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques. Ability to follow safety procedures. Physical ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
