Data Analyst - Expert

Product & Platform Analytics

• Develop analytics frameworks to measure performance across the Ecosystem platform and digital services.
• Provide insights into product usage, feature adoption, and customer engagement across the pet parent journey.
• Partner with product teams to evaluate platform features and inform prioritization of product enhancements.
• Support product strategy through data-driven insights that improve platform usability and value delivery.

Customer & Growth Analytics

• Analyze customer acquisition channels, user behavior, and lifecycle engagement patterns.
• Partner with marketing teams to improve conversion, retention, and customer engagement through analytics-driven insights.
• Develop dashboards and KPI frameworks that track user growth, engagement, and service adoption across the platform.
• Support experimentation and optimization initiatives that improve digital experience and platform growth.

Ecosystem & Partner Analytics

• Deliver analytics supporting IPH's ecosystem of partners, including shelters, rescues, veterinarians, and other pet service providers.
• Analyze adoption trends, partner engagement, and platform utilization to improve ecosystem performance.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen the network effects of the PetPlace platform through data insights.
• Support partner success initiatives through improved visibility into performance metrics and engagement trends.

Data Strategy & Capability Development

• Partner with enterprise data and technology teams to ensure Ecosystem analytics capabilities align with IPH's broader data architecture and governance standards.
• Develop scalable reporting frameworks and self-service analytics capabilities for business stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and streamline access to data-driven insights.
• Support integration of PetPlace data into enterprise analytics platforms where appropriate.

Experimentation & Data-Driven Innovation

• Establish test-and-learn frameworks to evaluate product features, marketing initiatives, and digital customer experiences.
• Identify opportunities to leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI to improve platform performance and user engagement.
• Support data-driven experimentation that accelerates innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related analytical field required.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• 8-12 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, product analytics, or related roles.
• Experience supporting digital platforms, marketplaces, or consumer technology products strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience building analytical models and translating insights into business recommendations.
• Experience with modern BI and data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and digital product analytics methodologies.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence business stakeholders and translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders.
