Backend Software Engineer - Microservices & APIs
Devitechs
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software applications.
- Develop scalable and high-performance backend services.
- Analyze business requirements and create technical solutions.
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Perform unit testing and integration testing activities.
- Participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
- Optimize application performance and reliability.
- Work with databases and data integration technologies.
- Implement secure coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint activities.
- Support production deployments and post-release monitoring.
- Create technical documentation and system specifications.
- Contribute to architecture and design discussions.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies when appropriate.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for deployment automation.
- Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge.
- Support continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, .NET Core, C#, SQL Server, or Oracle.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and SDLC methodologies.
