Overview The Division of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM)/Albert Einstein School of Medicine is seeking candidates with training in Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine to join our dynamic and growing faculty. CHAM is a quaternary care, academic children’s hospital in New York City, serving the diverse patient population of the Bronx, Westchester County, and the Hudson Valley. Our Division currently includes 7 physicians and 3 nurse practitioners. Responsibilities The Division has a strong foundation in educational innovation, research, and Quality and Performance Improvement. We also have a premier pulmonary fellowship with one fellow for each year of training. Our division members also serve as core faculty for the pediatric residency program and medical student education. Requirements We are looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible candidate who is trained in Sleep Medicine and is committed to a career in academic Medicine. Training in pulmonology is preferred but not required. The candidate will be energetic and enthusiastic, with an ability to work effectively as part of a team. The candidate must be an outstanding clinician dedicated to the care of children with complex respiratory needs, and an excellent educator of learners at all levels. We are particularly interested in candidates who would like to pursue a career as clinician educators. Leadership opportunities are available for qualified candidates.
