Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high-quality perioperative care in the Operating Room. The ideal candidate will support surgical teams and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions pre- and post-operatively to establish appropriate care plans.
• Assist surgeons and operating room staff during surgical procedures, ensuring sterile techniques are maintained.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any intraoperative changes promptly.
• Document all clinical activities accurately in electronic health records, including Epic.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
• Provide patient education regarding surgical procedures and postoperative care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active and valid Registered Nurse license with current state licensing.
• Possess at least 1.5 years of recent OR nursing experience, including experience in orthopedics, general surgery, neuro, vascular, or urology.
• Demonstrate travel experience and flexibility to work various shifts.
• Be proficient in Epic charting and familiar with advanced surgical technologies such as Davinci Robots and endovascular procedures.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
