Advanced Practice Clinician, Cardiology

Cardiology Advanced Practice ProviderPark Nicollet Clinic’s looking for exceptional, patient focused Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Cardiology APP team and make a difference for our patients and our community.The Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for providing both inpatient and outpatient services. In the inpatient setting, the APP works as a team with the attending cardiologist to perform and staff initial consults, subsequent follow up visits and to coordinate patient care. In the outpatient setting, the APP will see patients independently in the cardiology clinic. Outreach clinic may also be expected. Performs other duties as assigned.Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hr shifts or 10hr shifts for total of 40 hr per week. Occasional weekends.Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.If a Physician Assistant:Current registration to practice as a Physician Assistant in Minnesota plus current national certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant & Approved by Minnesota Board of Medical Practice for prescription writing privileges (verified during credentialing process).If a Nurse Practitioner:Currently licensed as a APRN by the Minnesota Board of NursingCurrently licensed as a RN by the Minnesota Board of NursingAANP certificationCurrent BLS, ACLS, and DEA certification (verified during credentialing process)Benefits:You will be joining a team that is supportive and respectful of one another and deeply committed to the mission of HealthPartners.
