Our Company: 

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities.  SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

Responsibilities:

• Able to work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Process prescriptions using OnDemand Express III machine.
• Operate, troubleshoot and maintain OnDemand Express III machine and other automated packaging systems.
• Monitor inventory levels and storage conditions for medications and pharmacy supplies.
• Maintain floor stock, including restocking and timely removal of expired medications.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package, fill, and ship medications using robotic packaging equipment.
• Adherence to all pharmacy operational and safety standards.
• Collaborate as a team player to meet the operational goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications: 

• Licensed Texas Pharmacy Technician required.
• Experience with robotic packaging systems.
• Previous data entry experience preferred.
• Experience with OnDemand Express III or similar automation systems preferred.
• Long Term Care pharmacy experience, a plus.
• Previous experience working in automated environment.
• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned .
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.
