Part Time ServerWe are looking for an experienced Part Time Server to provide exceptional hospitality, impeccable service, guide guests through our menu and wine list, and ensure a seamless dining experience. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, a great attitude, and a passion for food and wine. This position requires availability to work weekends and flexible for both days and nights. Must be available on weekends 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., 10:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. weekdays, and will work approximately 2-4 shifts per week.Key Responsibilities:Deliver friendly, professional service and anticipate guest needs.Maintain knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods to provide informed recommendations.Suggest wine pairings and discuss tasting notes to enhance the dining experience.Use the Toast POS system to enter orders, manage payments, and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff.Ensure proper table maintenance, timing of courses, and smooth service flow.Address guest concerns professionally and efficiently.Follow food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations (ID verification and responsible serving).Maintain a clean and organized work area and complete post-shift duties.Support FOH and BOH teams for a collaborative, efficient service.Engage with guests to discuss wines, regions, and tasting notes, ensuring an elevated experience.Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices, including proper hand washing, FIFO (first in, first out), and cleaning protocols. Adhere to health department standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.Ensure that all workstations, coolers, and storage areas are stocked, organized, and properly cleaned throughout the shift.Complete all side work, including resetting tables, polishing silverware and restocking service stations.Obtain and maintain necessary certifications, including Health Department certification and STAR certification, to comply with food safety and alcohol service regulations.Compliance with Alcohol Laws & ID VerificationWhat We're Looking For:Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant service.Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage pairings (Italian cuisine experience is a plus).Excellent customer service and communication skills.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while multitasking.Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Physical Demands:Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.Lifting up to 40 lbs unassisted.Working in a busy, dynamic restaurant environment with temperature variations.Join our team and be part of an exceptional dining experience!
