Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the consumer goods manufacturing sector, is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician, you will be an essential part of the Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will enable you to thrive in this dynamic environment. Job Title: Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan Pay Range: $35 per hour plus OT, benefits What's the Job? Complete daily activities related to the maintenance of the building, equipment, and machinery. Inspect building and equipment to identify repair needs and evaluate functionality. Perform electrical maintenance, including replacing fixtures, bulbs, and troubleshooting electrical systems. Conduct minor plumbing repairs such as fixing leaks and unclogging drains. Support preventative maintenance on industrial woodworking equipment, HVAC systems, and building fixtures. What's Needed? Demonstrated mechanical and electrical repair skills and knowledge. Ability to manage multiple complex priorities and tasks efficiently. Strong judgment and decision-making capabilities. Basic computer literacy to utilize maintenance management systems like MaintainX CMMS. Proficiency in using a variety of power and hand tools safely and effectively. What's in it for me?
