Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist I to support our client's healthcarefacility in Riverview FL 33579 Job Details Schedule: Monday-Friday w/ every third Sat 6A-3P Location: Riverview FL 33579 Job Type: Local contract Contract Length: 05+months Pay Range: $19.85 to $21.26/hour* *Pay offered is based on experience,expertise, credentialing, and education. Job Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for patients and provide a professional, welcoming experience. Perform quality blood draws and prepare specimens for laboratory testing according to established procedures. Explain collection procedures to patients and create an atmosphere of trust and confidence. Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties. Follow laboratory procedures and maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and patient information security. Complete daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor. Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment. Maintain required records and documentation. Demonstrate professionalism and promote a positive image with patients, clients, employees, and the public. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Perform pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy . Remain flexible based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime . Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required . Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required . 1+ year of phlebotomy experience preferred . Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients. Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington . Strong customer service skills; experience in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboarding and data-entry experience required. Ability to produce accurate, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
