Care Partner The Care Partner provides compassionate personal care to residents, supports their daily living activities, monitors health, offers emotional support, and participates in social and recreational activities. Responsibilities Assist elders with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility, possibly with walkers and wheelchairs. Observe, document, and report changes in the elder’s health or behavior to the Wellness Team. Provide emotional support and companionship to elders dealing with loneliness, anxiety, or other emotional challenges. Assist with meals and provide feeding support when necessary. Engage elders in social and recreational activities to enhance their well‑being. Communicate with elders, their families, other team members, and guests. Maintain cleanliness through light housekeeping such as tidying up and ensuring general cleanliness. Qualifications Willingness to learn and work within a team environment. Good verbal communication skills; ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English. Licensing documentation (if required by your state) and the ability to pass a criminal background check. Ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.
