Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab.

• Assist physicians during catheterization procedures and ensure patient safety.

• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes during procedures.

• Maintain and troubleshoot cardiac catheterization equipment and technology.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures in the lab.

• Document and report patient data and procedure outcomes accurately.

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.

• Engage in performance reviews and set personal development goals.

• Evaluate and improve lab processes to enhance efficiency and outcomes.

• Utilize data analytics to track performance metrics and patient outcomes.

Experience/Qualifications

• Certification as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician or equivalent.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

• Experience in performing cardiac catheterization procedures and monitoring vital signs.

• Ability to adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures rigorously.

• Ability to engage in performance reviews and set personal development goals.

• Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization equipment and troubleshooting techniques.

• Proficient in documenting patient data and procedure outcomes accurately.

• A proactive attitude towards evaluating and improving lab processes.
