LitaWe are a vibrant Latin / Caribbean restaurant located in the heart of Walnut Creek. We opened in 2022 and are seeking to continue to grow our team.We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team and prepare high-quality dishes for our guests. The Full Time Line Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking and presenting dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Available shifts: 32+ hours per week (plus tips)2pm-11pm4pm-11pmResponsibilities:Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing and chopping vegetables, meat and fish.Cook and present dishes according to Chef's specifications, including following recipes and presentation standards.Maintain a clean and organized work area, including washing dishes and utensils and maintaining inventory levels as needed.Communicate effectively with other team members, including the kitchen staff and management.Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Must have a valid California Food Handlers CardMinimum of 1 year of experience as a line cook or in a similar roleStrong attention to detail and high level of organization and cleanlinessAbility to multitask and handle a workload.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentBasic math skills
