Position: Preschool Paraprofessional / After School Care Aid

Location: Cadillac, MI

St. Ann Catholic School is accepting applications for a Preschool Paraprofessional/After School Care Aide for the 2026-2027 school year.

Candidate Responsibilities include:

• Assisting and supporting the preschool teacher with daily curriculum and routines in an enthusiastic and efficient manner.
• Provide an environment that is safe and nurturing inside the classroom and on the playground.
• Attend to student's physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs.
• Ability to follow instructions in setting up and running centers set by the preschool teacher.
• Helping with snack and lunch time and other duties as needed.

Additional responsibilities include working in the Afterschool Care (ASC) program two to three days per week.

Responsibilities include:

• Classroom and playground supervision
• Creating a fun and safe environment
• Communicating with parents.

Qualifications:

• Prefer candidate who has two or more years working with children or in a preschool environment.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. Prefer candidate with college credits in early childhood.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willing to get certified.
• Ability to complete 16 hours of training yearly.
