Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery located in Crown Point, Indiana. This position involves managing laboring mothers, antepartum patients, postpartum patients, and gynecology surgery patients within the Labor and Delivery Department. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day to work in a facility that values teamwork, emergency management skills, and willingness to support colleagues in high-pressure situations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with assigned weekends and holidays.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses), and Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM) certifications. Minimum of 0 years of experience, with a preference for candidates with 3+ years managing labor and delivery.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience managing labor, epidural care, fetal monitoring, and use of fetal monitoring equipment such as FSE (Fetal Scalp Electrode), IUPC (Intrauterine Pressure Catheter).
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Two positions available to replace contractor staff. Candidates will be required to complete any mandated education modules prior to their first day in the unit.
