Mid-Level Web Developer Why This is an Exciting Role: As a Web Developer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics you will be responsible for: Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance web-based software solutions that support mission-critical intelligence applications Build intuitive, user-friendly web interfaces that enable analysts to capture, organize, visualize, and share data across the Intelligence Community Analyze user requirements and translate them into software design, performance, and usability requirements Collaborate with engineers, UX/UI designers, and mission stakeholders to develop scalable and responsive web applications Develop and maintain front-end components using modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks Integrate web applications with REST-based APIs and backend services to support data-driven mission capabilities Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and testing activities to ensure high-quality software delivery Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects while improving performance and maintainability of existing applications Contribute to Agile development activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and team collaboration Generate and maintain technical documentation supporting software design, implementation, and system maintenance What Makes BI&A Different: As a fully owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, BI&A offers an optimal mix of a small company environment with exceptional opportunities supported by a large corporation. Experience and Qualifications Required Education and Years of Experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline and eight (8) years of experience as a Web Developer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Four (4) additional years of Web Development experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree. Required Qualifications Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph Minimum eight (8) years of web development experience Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web applications Experience developing user-accessible web interfaces using technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Experience working with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue Experience developing applications that interface with REST-based APIs or web services Experience working through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment Experience troubleshooting and resolving software defects and performance issues Experience integrating new web components with existing applications and services Experience developing or maintaining technical documentation related to software systems Experience working in an Agile software development environment Experience using Jira and Confluence or similar collaboration and issue-tracking tools Experience ensuring developed software meets 508 accessibility compliance standards Desired Qualifications Experience developing applications within cloud environments such as AWS Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes Experience with Git-based version control systems Experience working with NoSQL or relational databases Experience developing data visualization or analytics interfaces Experience working with Node.js or Java-based backend services Experience developing Linux-based scripts for automation or integration Experience collaborating with UX/UI design teams to develop intuitive user interfaces Experience supporting mission-focused applications within the Intelligence Community Telework/Remote Availability: Hybrid work authorized depending on customer needs Work Location(s): Annapolis Junction, MD Summary Pay Range: $144,000- $210,000 Expected Closure Date: Applications for this position will be accepted through May 15, 2026 BI&A is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
