Start Date: October 2026

Location: Pennsylvania

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, 12-hour shifts. Every third weekend required. One winter holiday required. 8-week assignment.

Highlights:

• Specialized Brain Injury Unit focused on stroke recovery, traumatic and non-traumatic brain injuries, neurological disorders, and post-surgical rehabilitation
• Patient ratio of 1:5 on nights with comprehensive interdisciplinary team support including PT, OT, SLP, respiratory services, and social work
• Epic charting system with focus on neurological status, mobility progress, and therapy participation
• Typical patient length of stay 2-6 weeks with emphasis on functional recovery and family education
• 36 hours of orientation provided; minimal floating required (primarily within rehabilitation units)
• First-time travelers welcome; no call requirement

Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania RN license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required; ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years of acute care experience required
• Acute inpatient rehabilitation or acute rehab hospital experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with stroke patients, brain injury care, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury preferred
• Competency in tracheostomy care, PICC line management, IV therapy, wound care, and feeding tube management
• PA fingerprinting and background clearance required (must be completed within one week of contract signing)
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Pass/Fail clinical exam required for clearance
