Assistant Technician

CTDI also has a global footprint with more than 20,000 employees worldwide.An Assistant Tech inspects product functions and monitors test procedures and equipment in a warehouse environment.1st Shift: 6:00AM - 2:30PM, Monday - FridayPay Rate: $17.53ResponsibilitiesConduct testing procedures using specialized equipment.Identify and troubleshoot issues in electronic equipment.Disassemble and reassemble electronic devices.Comply with quality performance standards.Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.Ensure adherence to warehouse safety regulations, including compliance with ESD guidelines.All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.Required Skills and ExperienceSkilled in the operation of test equipment.Comfortable working autonomously and in a team environment.Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.Proficiency in computer skills required for precise data entry of completed units.Competent in maintaining accurate and organized records.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills & ExperiencePrevious technical experience, particularly with mobile devices/small electronics repair.Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.Familiarity with schematics.Handles basic issues and problems and escalates more complex issues to higher-level staff.Time-management skills.Written and verbal communication skills.Educational RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent work experience.Physical Demands and Working ConditionsWarehouse/distribution center environmentThe ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary.The ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time, if necessary.The ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity, if necessary.You will love working in our family-oriented company!
