Job Description

As a Security Officer Secret Clearance Building Access Control in   Huntington Beach, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aero and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative approach that puts people first.

Pay Rate: $24.63 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a dynamic aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as directed by site policies, and document security-related incidents, observations, and daily activity.
• Support access control, alarm response, and site rules compliance while working in environments and conditions that may vary across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
