Join Our Team as an Acute Travel RN in ICU Job Description: - Position: Registered Nurse (RN) in ICU - Shift: 7A - 7P - Weekly Guaranteed Hours: Choose from 36 or 48 hours - Unit Information: - Number of Beds: 10 - Patient Ratios: 1:3 in ICU - Equipment: Mindray, Omnicell - EHR: Meditech - Supervisor: Carol Storto, RN, BSN - Patient Population: Adult Requirements: - Certifications: - Required: BLS, ACLS - Experience: - Minimum of 1 year in ICU or related fields - Stepdown, Telemetry, and MedSurg experience welcomed - Must have skills: - Flexibility and willingness to help others - Familiarity with cardiac drips preferred - Onboarding Requirements: - Iowa SING background check (criminal and child abuse) - Mandatory reporter certification (child and adult) - 10-panel drug test (including opiates) - Updated titers (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB) within the last 12 months Additional Information: - Weekend Hours: Every other weekend required - Call Requirements: None - Floating: Required when needed - Additional Notes: Lower ICU volume with potential to care for patients in other units when necessary - Dress Code: Any color scrubs allowed; no sweatshirts, sweatpants, or offensive imagery Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol): At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
