Bookkeeper

Bookkeeper – San Leandro, CA

LHH is partnering with a well-established, family-oriented company in San Leandro to hire an experienced Bookkeeper. This is a fully onsite role ideal for someone who thrives in a small, collaborative environment and enjoys owning the full-cycle accounting process and pitching in as needed with office manager type duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform bank and account reconciliations with a high level of accuracy
• Process and support payroll activities
• Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and account review
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting
• Partner with leadership on day-to-day financial operations

Qualifications

• 10+ years of bookkeeping experience in a similar, hands-on role
• Strong background in AP, AR, reconciliations, and payroll
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently in a small company environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
