Title: Vehicle Decal Prep and Driver
Location: Lakewood, New Jersey
1st Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday though Friday with possible overtime
Summary:
AMERICAN VAN EQUIPMENT is searching for a full time, Vehicle Decal Prep and Driver to clean, measure and applies vinyl graphics and decals to trucks, and safely drives/transports vehicles to and from client locations or shops. This role combines hands-on graphic prep, precise vinyl installation, and reliable driving duties.
Job Duties
- Surface Prep & Decal Application: Clean vehicle bodies, remove old stickers, and apply new vinyl graphics, logos, or lettering accurately using squeegees and heat guns.
- Vehicle Driving & Transport: Safely drive, deliver, or pick up customer and company fleet vehicles before and after installations.
- Quality Check: Inspect finished decal placements for air bubbles, alignment issues, or wrinkles.
- Workspace Care: Keep tools, equipment, and work bays clean, safe, and organized. [1]
Job Requirements
- Valid Driver's License: Must hold a clean driving record and a valid state driver's license.
- Attention to Detail: Good hand-eye coordination and skill with measuring tools to place decals straight.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
REQUIREMENTS
-Clean driver’s license.
-Ability to get in and out of a van continually throughout the day.
-Takes pride in safety and cleanliness of vehicles.
