Director Of Operations

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Director of Operations sharing with the commander the full scope of responsibility for directing activities of the 81st Training Support Squadron (81 TRSS) and, in the commander's absence, directing squadron activities to ensure mission accomplishment.

Duties:

• Plans, organizes and oversees operations of the 81 TRSS which support the mission of the entire 81 TRG, detachments, operating locations and associated sister-service units; advises the squadron commander on all aspects of squadron operations.
• Participates with the commander in diverse managerial and supervisory responsibilities to oversee the 81 TRSS workforce of more than 200 military and civilians through chiefs of the subordinate flights/elements.
• Represents the 81 TRSS and 81 TRG in a variety of group, installation and functional area organizations on behalf of the commander.
• Integrates the collective efforts of a multi-disciplined staff of military, civilian, and/or contractor personnel to ensure mission success of the 81 TRSS and 81 TRG works diverse squadron personnel issues (including discipline/judicial punishment) on behalf of the squadron commander.
• Accomplishes special projects.
