Job Description Description: Palo Verde Pain Specialists is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Bilingual Medical Assistant (Spanish/English) to join our growing Pain Management team. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for providing outstanding patient care. Requirements: Fluent in both Spanish and English (verbal and written communication). Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Professional, dependable, and compassionate demeanor. Thorough understanding of Medical Assistant responsibilities, including: Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs Preparing and reviewing patient charts Accurate EMR documentation and charting. Assisting providers during examinations and pain management procedures. Processing provider orders, referrals, and prescriptions Position Duties: Including, but not limited to: As a Medical Assistant of our practice, you will be responsible for providing and assisting the provider in the clinical documentation necessary during a clinical visit under direct supervision of the provider Maintain working knowledge of common medications, including dosages and indications Ability to navigate EHR to retrieve and enter documentation Outgoing referral to specialists, completing orders for imaging, etc. Assist with add-ons chart prep for next day (prepare for week and check add-ons) Imaging, referring provider notes, scans, etc. Triage calls Assist with in-office procedures Complete urine drug screens Maintains clean and xmvmafu orderly back office area Provides assistance to team members, physicians, and anesthesia personnel as needed (i.e. reliability, initiative, work relations, training needs) Job Type: Full-time Required: Bilingual (Spanish/English) Work setting: In-person Experience: Medical Assistant: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Medical Assistant Diploma Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance PIcfccf1587f46-254
