Job Type: Full-Time
We are hiring a mechanically experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician / Machine Operator to operate, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair food production and packaging equipment.
The ideal candidate has experience working with industrial machinery and is comfortable diagnosing mechanical problems and helping keep production equipment running reliably.
Responsibilities
Operate and set up production machinery
Troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues
Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
Make machine adjustments and minor repairs
Diagnose causes of equipment downtime
Replace or repair worn components when appropriate
Work with pumps, conveyors, fillers, labelers, and packaging machinery
Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and outside technicians
Maintain tools, maintenance records, and spare parts
Follow GMP, food safety, and workplace safety requirements
Qualifications
Industrial maintenance or mechanical experience required
Manufacturing experience required
Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred
Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability
Experience with hand and power tools
Familiarity with motors, pumps, bearings, belts, conveyors, pneumatics, and sensors
Electrical or PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus
Spanish-speaking or bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
We are looking for someone who can do more than operate a machine. The right candidate should be able to identify mechanical problems, troubleshoot the cause, and help get equipment back into reliable operation.
