Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a Board Certified Physician (MD/DO) for an Occupational Medicine locum tenens opportunity in Richmond, California .

This opportunity offers a structured weekday schedule in an established outpatient medical practice, combining workplace injury management, occupational health examinations, and walk-in urgent care. The position is ideal for a physician comfortable managing diverse occupational and acute-care presentations while supporting local employers with workplace health, safety, and return-to-work needs.

Schedule & Practice Setting

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, or until the last patient is seen
• Outpatient medical office in Richmond, California
• Occupational Medicine and walk-in Urgent Care
• Immediate availability preferred
• No regularly scheduled weekend shifts

Clinical Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat work-related injuries and illnesses
• Conduct pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical examinations
• Evaluate and manage walk-in urgent care patients
• Perform appropriate in-office procedures
• Communicate with employers regarding treatment recommendations and return-to-work considerations
• Deliver professional, respectful, and patient-centered care
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and promptly

Required Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Active, unrestricted California medical license
• Current DEA registration
• Board Certification in a relevant medical specialty
• Clinical experience appropriate for Occupational Medicine and Urgent Care
• Proficiency in workplace injury management, occupational examinations, and common outpatient procedures
