Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician AReyes Fleet Management, one of the largest privately held fleets in the U.S., is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician A to perform the repairs and maintenance of our tractor and trailer equipment at our brand new Martin Brower shop in Enfield, CT. Shift: Full-Time Monday - Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm Pay: $35.00-40.00/HR based on experience and qualificationsWhy work for Reyes Fleet Management?4 Weeks paid time off + Holiday payYearly performance raisesASE Incentive Pay (up to $2.00 additionally with ASE Certifications)CDL Incentive Pay-($1.00 additionally with active license)Career advancement opportunities401K and Company paid Life InsuranceReferral bonuses and Reyes Reward programHealth, dental, and vision coverage including multiple medical plansTool & Boot annual payout & Paid UniformsGreat work culture and clean facilitiesFinancial and wellness discounts and much more!!!Position Responsibilities:Diagnose, rebuild and repair fleet equipment (tractors, trailers, refrigeration units, and related parts)Complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance through the online Enterprise Asset Management systemDiagnoses complex mechanical and electric problems utilizing diagnostic technology/software when applicableCompletes complex and detailed mechanical inspections and repairs with minimal supervisionAdhere to all company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations including DOT, OSHA, and Reyes Fleet Management standards, while ensuring compliance with safety programs, correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practicesThis position may require driving Reyes Family of Businesses, Reyes Fleet Management and customer vehicles, it is regulated by the DOT and requires a current driver qualification file to be maintained as required by the role. The Driver Qualification file includes: an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last three years.
